Passage: 'A Special Family Day'
Every weekend,
I visit my father, the male parent, and my mother, the female
parent. They live in a friendly house with my older brother (a male
sibling) and my younger sister (a female sibling).
Last Sunday was
extra special. My grandmother—my mother’s mother—baked a cake, and my grandfather—my
father’s father—read the newspaper. In the afternoon, my uncle (my
father’s brother) and my aunt (my father’s sister) came to help in the
garden. They brought along their son—a male child—and their daughter—a
female child—to play with my brother and sister.
In the evening,
my aunt’s husband, her male spouse, and my uncle’s wife,
his female spouse, joined us for dinner. My father and mother—together,
the husband and wife—served the food. It was a joyful day with family
together!
