📘 Reading Text (A2 Level): Lasallian Values at University La Salle Cancún
At University La Salle Cancun, students do not only study subjects like English, Math or
Science. They also learn important values. These values are called Lasallian
values. They come from a man named Saint John Baptist de La Salle,
the founder of La Salle schools.
There are five main Lasallian values:
1. Faith: Students believe in themselves, in other people, and in God. Faith also means having a positive attitude and trusting the learning process.
2. Service: Students help others. They do volunteer work and support people in need. They learn that helping is more important than only thinking about personal success.
3. Fraternity: This means working together and being kind. Students respect their classmates and try to create a friendly and peaceful space in class.
4. Justice: Students treat others fairly and defend what is right. They respect the rights of others, promote equality, and take action when they see something unfair.
5. Commitment: This means being responsible. Students come to class on time, do their homework, and try their best every day.
At La Salle
Cancun, students learn how to be good people and good professionals by
following these values.
